WOWZA! What a day! It's crazy windy outside, which is absoultely awesome, except for when the wind knocks out your power. I came in to work today and heard that our power was out in the Comox location, which is where we have our servers so... no server, no booking of clients, payments and the like. We managed to shed our technology dependant skins and used our brains, a pen and some paper. Who would have thought THAT could work?!

So, after a couple hours of old schoolin' it up at the desk, the power came back to the Comox location. BOOM! Back to normal, just like that... ohhh, wait... nope, there went the power at our Courtenay location. Back out came the pens and the paper... and even my brain. That only lasted for about half an hour though, so yes, I survived!

Crystal did most of the work here though as I had skipped out for a few minutes to grab a healthy lunch of peanut butter and toast. Shhhh... I know, I know, not the most healthy thing in the entire world. Do I get bonus points for the fact that it tasted AMAZING?! I hope so, I like bonuses.

So that's my day so far! A nice storm to watch out the window and some old fashioned receptionist...ing? Yeah, receptionisting, that's it.
