I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sadie, and I am a receptionist at Roots the Salon. Who is Roots the Salon you may ask? Well, Roots the Salon just so happens to be one of the best salons on the planet. I'm serious... I'm not just saying that because I work there. Nobody has bribed me, or threatened my life to say it! It really is amazing, and I absolutely love working there!

It is a really busy place full of busy people and busy days, but that's part of why I love it so. I get to see people come in, disappear behind the wall, and emerge looking fabulous! I get to witness total transformations in how someone looks multiple times a day. It's a very uplifting place to work. Then there is the staff... we have a lot of staff! All of them are ridiculously talented individuals who make a difference in the lives of others on a daily basis. They are like super heroes, but instead of stopping crime, they are enforcing hotness! It's awesome!

Why a blog though? Why write about being a receptionist? Why do I care so much? Well... because I spend a lot of my day watching all of this stuff happen, and I spend a lot of my day pondering beauty in general. Pondering trends, pondering colors, pondering makeovers, pondering human relations, pondering ... well everything. There is a lot to ponder! I thought why not write about it? Why not involve all of you in to my daily life in the salon!

I'm sure through my writing you will get to know and love the people I work with. There are some serious characters up in there! It's extremely entertaining, and it would be just so wrong of me not to share that with the world.

Don't worry... it wont be all words! I promise to post pictures and video clips to spice up your reading experience, or just give you a break from reading in general!
